Before creating a topic or posting, please read the rules, any recent announcements, pinned threads, and use the forum's search feature to see if your topic has already been posted by someone else. Topics which have already been covered may be removed from the forum and may result in further consequences. Breeching of these rules may result in a ban, deletion of the content posted, and/or further actions.

If you see another member breeching these rules, we ask you to please report them, as moderators and administrators may miss the breech. To report a post simply click the "Report" button that is shown near the bottom of the post. To report a specific member, view their profile, and at the bottom right of their profile page there is a "Report This Member" button. Once you've clicked either of the buttons, simply enter in a reason and then you're done. Other reports can be sent such as Private Message reports via the Report button at the bottom of the content posted. Once the report has been sent, the report will be reviewed by a moderator and then further actions may be carried out.

All of the following rules apply to every system active on the forums (where necessary), this includes avatars, forum posts, private messages, signatures, etc.

Rules include, but are not limited to:
Spamming is not permitted unless otherwise specified within the forum's rules. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • posting topics in inappropriate forums
  • posting topics in multiple forums
  • posting irrelevant or pointless information in serious forums, please use the Off-Topic forum.
  • posting unsolicited advertisements
  • bumping old threads
  • thread hijacking
  • double posting
  • posting excessive caps
  • misuse of large or colored text
  • reposting a trashed and/or deleted thread
  • non legitimate reputation gain
Flaming is not permitted. If someone is wrong about something, don't shoot them down, simply correct them and link them to something so they can learn.

Extreme Profanity is not accepted. The use of foul language such as swearing in topic titles is not allowed. Minimal use of swear words may be used in the Off-Topic forum (only in topic content, not titles); however only to an extent. If swearing is necessary for a topic title in the Off-Topic forum (for effect), the use of asterisk's may be used. Profanity is not accepted in signatures or profile pictures.

Respect members. Respect should be shown to all members and especially staff on the forum, if you have a problem with another member report them to a moderator or administrator.

Pornography, warez, or any other illegal transactions may not be discussed, linked to, put in avatars, or put in signatures. This includes the discussion of illegally obtained software product keys, cracking of programs, and/or activations. The hard-working employees which create the software deserve your money.

There will be no racial, ethnic, or gender-based insults or any other personal discriminations. Please report to a moderator or administrator if you have been insulted or discriminated-against and would like action taken.

If you have an issue with another member of the forum, including moderators, do not post publicly about it; rather, bring your issue to an administrator or directly to AquuL by using the forums private messaging system or e-mail corey@aquul.com. Please be sure to link posts and forward any private messages related to your complaint to an administrator to which you are addressing your complaint.

Users may not dispute or discuss a moderator's action(s) publicly unless given direct permission to do so from either the moderator in question or a member of the administrative staff. Any and all complaints directed at a moderator must first address the moderator in question via personal messaging.

If you are not happy with a moderator's decision, you user may appeal your position to a forum Administrator. The forum admin will make or change any and/or all final decisions. Finally, you may appeal directly by private message to AquuL who will render a final decision.

One account per member. If a member is found to have more than one account, that member may have any and/or all of his/her accounts permanently banned from the forum.

These rules are subject to change. Those who disobey the aforementioned rules will meet with one or more of the following consequences, chosen by the acting moderator:
- warning increase
- suspension
- permanent expulsion

If you have any questions or concerns to the rules previous, you may reply to this topic where your question will be answered.

Clear and concise rules, I do like to see a good, well thought out set once in a while.

I see these rules do attempt to set out a clear foundation for the users to follow and adhere to.

Good job.

@AquuL I have a question about the Pornography rule. (Wow, that sounds awkward) would a girl in like a Bra or a Bikini be considered against the rules. I know some people think this sort of stuff is bad... and Im not sure what age this site is aimed for.

A girl in a bra or bikini is acceptable within a certain context. If it's evolved with the topic, but not directly the topic, that's fine.

Let's say you were making a topic dedicated to bra's and bikini's, this forum is not the place.
However, if you were say, in Photoshop, doing a breast enlargement, this is within context and allowed on the forums.
